Pedego Harrisburg is co-owned by Drew and his parents, Denise and Michael Soisson. Mike and Denise are lifelong bicyclists who have fallen in love with Pedego electric bicycles. Looking for a family business to own and operate, Pedego became a real option for us doing something together that we all love. (We will be looking to similar Pedego stores with Drew’s two sisters who live in Pittsburgh and Stamford, CT)

The Soisson’s are all former swimmers and several of us have competed locally and nationally in triathlons and competitive swimming. We have always enjoyed bicycling but as Denise and Mike have “aged” (yes, we are classic “baby boomers”) riding the hills and the wind in central Pennsylvania has become more chore than fun so when we were introduce to Pedego, we found the perfect balance of wanting to stay fit and active, challenging ourselves on our rides, but reducing the wear and tear on our bodies. Pedego bikes enable us to work as much or as little as we like;- somedays at a 1-2 on the peddle assist and some days on the 4 – 5!

We wanted to find a business that we can all do together. Denise and Drew have been residential real estate agents and we all enjoy the entrepreneurial pursuits that a Pedego Store allows. We believe that our store in Harrisburg will be highly successful. We want other people to fall in love with their Pedego Bikes and be able to say, “Hello Fun”

We are all oriented towards customer service. Denise grew up working in her dad’s butcher shop and Mike has been a lifelong healthcare provider. Drew coaches and is in real estate. So we appreciate the importance of exceeding the customer’s expectations. Pedego makes a fantastic product that makes exceeding expectations easy and Pedego Harrisburg will be known for its customer loyalty. Pedego bikes are top of the line. As a traditional cyclist, the integration of the gearing and the pedal assist is incredibly smooth. We love the complexity yet ease of operation and we love the SPEED but safety of Pedego bikes. We also love the Pedego “culture” which is all about the customer and all about Having FUN!
