WHO WE ARE
PEDEGO LOUISVILLE is the go-to destination for electric bike sales, rentals, tours, and service in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Owners, Mark and Jo Anne Noland first experienced the fun and benefits of electric bikes on a vacation to the Netherlands in 2016. When they decided to buy E-Bikes of their own, PEDEGO’s reputation for performance, reliability and service, made PEDEGO the clear choice.
Mark and Jo Anne’s love of their Pedegos quickly spread to the rest of their family. In 2018, along with their three youngest sons, Adam, Casey and Stu, they decided to share that enthusiasm by opening PEDEGO LOUISVILLE in the vibrant Highlands neighborhood of their hometown.
With easy access to Cherokee Park, close to unique dining, retail and some of the best nightlife in the city, PEDEGO LOUISVILLE has it all. Whether you rent for an hour, take a guided tour, or become a PEDEGO owner for life, you can expect unparalleled performance, the best warranty in the industry, and the care of the Noland family. We would love to show you around the city in the most fun way possible: on a PEDEGO electric bike.
Our store is located in the Highland Green complex at 1403 Bardstown Rd. A LEED Silver building, it features a living roof (with 2 bee hives) and an electric vehicle charging station. We currently have four dedicated parking spots, two in the side alley and two next to the charging station—just look for the Highland Green signs.
Customers don’t just like Pedegos – they love them!
ELECTRIC BIKE RENTALS
EXPLORE LOUISVILLE
Pedego Louisville is located blocks away from Cherokee Park, a 409-acre Frederick Law Olmstead designed park that features a 2.4 mile scenic loop with a dedicated pedestrian and bicycle lane. Riding a Pedego electric bike is the best way to comfortably navigate the park’s rolling hills, open meadows and woodlands.
Feeling more adventurous? Our staff can navigate you toward neighborhood streets and dedicated bike lanes that allow for a comfortable and scenic route to Waterfront Park and the historic Big 4 bridge. Once there, you can enjoy skyline views while riding across the mile wide Ohio River on a converted railroad bridge and onto the many miles of scenic riverfront bike lanes in Southern Indiana.
Whether you are just visiting or a local, riding a Pedego electric bike is the best way to experience the city.
Helmets and bottled water are included with all rentals. Bike Locks are available upon request. We recommend wearing closed toe shoes and sunscreen. All riders must be at least 16 years old.
Electric Bike Tours
Personalized Tour
We can design a tour to whatever riding level and distance you feel comfortable. Generally, we ride through neighborhood streets and dedicated bike lanes towards downtown Louisville, Waterfront Park, and across the Ohio River on the historic Big 4 Bridge. After crossing the bridge, we ride along the southern Indiana waterfront, enjoying views of downtown Louisville and the Ohio River. Highlights of this tour include the Falls of the Ohio State Park, where you can visit 386-million-year-old limestone fossil beds and the launching point of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Beyond the State Park, the dedicated bike/pedestrian trail continues all the way to New Albany.
Other tour routes can be designed to visit Churchill Downs, The University of Louisville, Old Louisville (the largest collection of Victorian homes in the country), 4th Street in downtown Louisville, Museum Row, Whiskey Row, and the Belle of Louisville Steamboat. Currently, we are offering a free tour guide with 4 or more regular price half-day rentals.
If your tour plans include a pit stop for refreshments our knowledgeable staff can recommend a variety of excellent local restaurants or picnic spots.
We recommend wearing closed toe shoes and sunscreen. All riders must be at least 16 years old. Helmets and bottled water are included with all rentals/tours. Locks are available upon request.
