Pedego Louisville offers eco-friendly bikes that energize riding for work and play
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 7, 2018 — A new Pedego® Electric Bikes store is now open in Louisville, Ky. Husband-and-wife co-owners Frank and Karen Muscato are thrilled to bring the nation’s Number 1 electric bike brand to the community. Located in the Highlands of Louisville, Pedego Louisville is the 120th Pedego store worldwide. A Grand-opening Celebration is set for Friday, May 11, and Saturday, May 12, and the public is invited.
Embracing their devotion to a green lifestyle, the Muscatos’ new store, Pedego Louisville, is located in a Gold LEED-certified, energy-efficient building. The building has a solar farm on the roof that collects energy to power the store and charge the bikes. As a result, their rental fleet of electric bikes is both energy efficient and cost effective.

The Muscatos also own Pedego Bloomington in Indiana, which is approximately 100 miles away from the Louisville store. Frank and Karen, who have been married 35 years, discovered Pedego bikes as customers and opened their stores with the goal of sharing the fun with as many people as possible. After working in law enforcement for 52 years, Frank came out of retirement to open Pedego Bloomington. Today, at 75 years old, he has opened his second store. Frank said, “Riding my Pedego electric bike keeps me young. And I have a ‘Pedego’ tattoo to prove it.”
“We are committed 110 percent to providing a fabulous customer experience,” said Frank. “We feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to assist people in choosing the Pedego that best suits them, to hear the resulting stories and see their photos.”
