Pedego Electric Bikes Let Riders Reach New Heights at Acadia National Park
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 12, 2017 — A Pedego® Electric Bikes store has opened in Bar Harbor, Maine, and now cyclists can reach new heights of fun at Acadia National Park. When store owner Anne Watson discovered how much fun she could have exploring the national park on an electric bike, she knew she had to share the joys of Pedego with locals and visitors in nearby Bar Harbor. Pedego Acadia is the 107th Pedego store to open worldwide by the Number 1 electric bike brand in the United States.
Bar Harbor’s historic, quaint streets provide the ultimate in sight-seeing fun on a Pedego electric bike. Biking along the town pier, riders have amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Porcupine Islands. Rolling out of town, Pedego electric bikes empower riders to go the distance while visiting the magnificent Acadia National Park. Pedego’s powerful motor flattens hills and makes headwinds a breeze, so riders can thoroughly enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Pedego Acadia’s choice of rentals and self-guided tours allow riders to explore the grandeur of the island at their own pace. Pedego riders will enjoy taking in the dramatic mountain and coastal views as they cruise the Cranberry Island tour, Acadia’s 27-mile Park Loop Road or bike up Cadillac Mountain. Towering over the park, Cadillac Mountain has terrific views of the town, Frenchman’s Bay and the Cranberry Islands. The Schoodic Ferry can take riders to the Schoodic Peninsula; fresh lobster and crab roll picnic lunches are provided for the ten-mile bike tour along the coast.
