New Pedego Electric Bikes Store Cruises Into Chattanooga

February 12, 2020

Pedego Chattanooga delivers delightful fun along river-lined bike paths

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 12, 2020 — A new Pedego® Electric Bikes store has opened in Chattanooga, Tenn., one of Lonely Planet’s “Best in the U.S.” and “Top 10 U.S. Destinations.”
Pedego Chattanooga co-owners and newlyweds Adam and Kamrie McAnulty are delighted to offer rentals, sales and service of the nation’s Number 1 electric bike brand. Free test rides are also available. The store will celebrate its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020.

Adam and Kamrie McAnulty are excited to bring the joy of electric cycling to the community of Chattanooga and its visitors.

Adam, age 31, has been in the bicycle industry since his college graduation in 2011. In preparation to open his own store, he worked at the Pedego 30A store in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., for nearly two years. A lifelong cyclist, Adam said, “I love riding my Pedego electric bike because it enables me to absorb the scenery and really enjoy being outdoors. With my Pedego, I can just ride my bike and enjoy it.”

Kamrie, age 27, who also loves riding bikes, recently graduated from Florida State University in Panama City with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is planning to continue her education while helping at the Pedego shop.

The couple, married in 2018, wanted to run a business together and found that Pedego was the perfect choice. Being a licensed store rather than a franchise gave the couple more flexibility in making their store their own and allows them to uniquely cater to their customers and visitors. First-time business owners, the couple found great support from the Pedego Corp. team helping them identify a location, sign a lease and get their store and inventory set up for their store opening.

Pedego Chattanooga offers rentals, sales and service of Pedego electric bikes. From the store, riders can take the Walnut Street Bridge, one of the world’s longest pedestrian bridges, to downtown Chattanooga with its quaint shops and restaurants. From there, riders can ride along the Tennessee Riverwalk, a 13-mile ride from downtown Chattanooga to the Chicamauga Dam, enjoying beautiful river views along the way. Rides near the shop also include Coolidge and Renaissance Park with its beautiful views of the Tennessee River.

“In Chattanooga, Pedego riders can cruise with ease for miles along beautiful river-lined paths as distances, winds and terrain are no challenge for Pedego’s powerful motors,” said Don DiCostanzo, Pedego Electric Bikes CEO and co-founder. “The McAnultys are perfect hosts, helping their customers and guests enjoy this awesome cycling experience.”
