FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 2, 2018 — A new Pedego® Electric Bikes store is now open in Santa Fe, N.M., bringing a new kind of two-wheeled fun to the region. Pedego Santa Fe co-owners husband-and-wife Dan and Becky Armstrong and lifelong friend Jim Hilderbrandt are delighted to share the nation’s Number 1 electric bike brand with the community. Pedego electric bikes flatten hills and let riders zip through headwinds to travel distances with ease. Pedego Santa Fe is the 136th Pedego store worldwide.

Owning a Pedego store is the second, third or fourth career for this team. Dan, 72, worked in the defense industry and then became a general contractor before working in the oil and gas industry. Becky, 72, is a retired a high school biology teacher. Jim, 56, spent most of his career as entrepreneur in the printing industry as well as many years in the RV business. Friends for 15 years, they went into the RV business together in 2015.
The three partners also own Santa Fe RV, a destination for sales and service of RVs, co-located with their Pedego Electric Bikes store, which is in a revamped Airstream trailer that is painted “Pedego Turquoise.” Their RV customers appreciate the ease of taking electric bikes along with them on their RV travels. Rather than towing a car, it’s easier to take electric bikes along for fun and adventure. Pedego riders can conquer hills, headwinds and distances with their bikes’ PedalAssist and twist-and-go throttle. Pedal or not, riders enjoy the scenery as they ride.
