Pedego Owners….Start Your Engines! Ride the Long Beach Grand Prix!
For the second year in a row, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is opening its track to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday April 1st, which is also the event’s annual media day. The community is invited to walk, bike, roller skate or even push a stroller along the course where the world’s best IndyCar drivers will race at over 180 mph the following week. Animals are not permitted with the exception of service animals.”This free ‘Grand Prix-View’ is a great opportunity to get some exercise while experiencing up close the race track, which is usually reserved for some of the most elite race car drivers in the world,” Mayor Bob Foster said in a written statement. The Grand Prix-View will cover 1.5 miles of the course, and travel in the same direction as the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, which starts the following week and draws approximately 170,000 spectators.
